Below is an update from our dear sister in Kenya, Lucy Mburu. Lucy was one of the first friends we met in Kenya back in 2008! She serves an orphanage, that until last year, often went without adequate food and other supplies needed for the children. Now there are several team members Lucy has helped to organize who work with the kids and recently prepared a meal! It is amazing what can happen when a barren room is filled with love and a bunch of full tummies!

Shalom dear friends! We have been struggling to help feed a starving church in Western Kenya. I have known Pastor Festus for many years. At first when we were able to send money we found that our two or three hundred dollars was going to small group of ten or twelve people. They were given fairly large portions because they were afraid there would not be any more so they had better hoard whatever they had. OThere is one small, filthy creek in the Kibera slum that everybody depends on for bathing people and animals, and for their drinking and cooking water! Disease is rampant from this open cesspool and most people there have never seen water like you see in these pictures, let alone be able to swim and play in it!! It is a whole new World for the teachers and students, and they are over the moon with delight!!

These beautiful faces belong to some of the 130 students that are now in our Graceland School in the Kibera slums of Kenya! Most are kids who have been invited off the dirt roads of one of the poorest slums in the World! Roughly five years ago we were able to finish drilling and establish a deep water well that miraculously exploded like a geyser when we broke through! Our dear sister in Kenya, Lucy Mburu, works with an orphanage that cares for children who are in desperate need of every basic provision, especially love! We have been sending $300/ month for food and hygiene needs but recently enough resources have come in to start sending $400/ month which will allow them not only to eat regularly but also be able to take in others who are in the same brutal situation!

Shalom dear ones! As many of you know Dr. Lev has been sharing the ministry with us in Ukraine since he was 12 years old! Now he is the European representative to the former Soviet Union to train other doctors in the latest science and treatments for stroke patients! His travels also take him to the frontlines of the War with Russia to serve the poorest of the poor and those without any possibility of medical care!

She left a good paying job with a private Christian School to pull children as young as 15 months old off the slums in Kibera and bring them to her own little shanty without support from any other source but the day-by-day provision of the Living God!!

Blessings dear servants of the Living God, Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is in Them!!! Acts 17:24,25. This is our latest report from our dear pastor Festus. We have been trying to send $300 every other month to his starving church and the surrounding community in Western Kenya. Our hope this year, as long as God provides, is to send $300 every month to help as many as we can!

One of the very pressing needs in Kenya is the starving villagers out in the Country! Many of them move into the horrific slums in hopes of finding food and then get stuck there! We have been sending an average of $300 every other month to help pastor Festus Kimwele’s church and community, whom I have known for several years. They go several days at a time without anything to eat- so they call those ‘fasting’ days and pray to God for help!

Lucy Mburu has been a friend of everyone we have taken with us to Kenya, Africa since 2008! She has an almost overwhelming passion for Jesus and the salvation of souls everywhere she goes! We have been supporting her in a growing ministry to orphans and the Elderly- both of which are suffering tragically during the current drought and food shortages in Kenya!

Our ZOOM team was asked in January of 2025 to help Amson Learning Ctr. (Enos’ school in the Madera slums) with a scholarship fund that helps kids attend school whose parents can’t afford the ten dollars a month school fees plus materials. We contribute $300/month to this program and are praying that God will allow us to continue supporting this life-line ministry that provides for kids who otherwise would have no access to formal education…

I thought it might be helpful for you to have the latest update from our dear brother Richard Suarez in Venezuela, as you know, the U.S. recently captured its leader, Nicolas Maduro. In 2020 our dear brother, Juan Carlos Jimenez, invited me to go to Colombia, S. America, to participate in a month-long boot camp for pastors. Most of these pastors had little formal religious training and many were going into dangerous places to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!...

We are in the last month of 2025 and are humbled by God’s faithful provision throughout the entire year for the staff and children at Graceland School in the Kibera slums of Nairobi, Kenya! Besides providing daily food, school materials, basic support for staff and volunteers we have been able to send them on three field trips this year!
